Mecalac’s new TA3SH Power Swivel Site Dumper is designed to maneuver small to mid-sized jobsites, especially those in crowded or confined areas.
It offers power forward and swivel tipping. It can rotate 180 degrees to dump on the right or left side. The dumper has a payload of 6,613 pounds, which Mecalac says makes it ideal for concrete, landscaping and urban construction. It is 13 feet long and 6 feet 1 inch wide.
It can travel up to 19 mph. Its 24-horsepower engine does not require diesel exhaust fluid or a diesel particulate filter to meet Tier 4 Final emissions standards.
A heavy-duty locking device keeps the skip facing forward while it is traveling. Start/Stop Control automatically starts and stops the engine in predetermined conditions to reduce fuel consumption, improve safety and increase service intervals, the company says. The dumper can also detect objects with its Hazard Detection microwave radar technology.
Rental companies and site managers can monitor the dumper’s location, distance traveled and hours completed each day with Mecalac’s Capture telematics.
