Fecon will introduce its FTX200 Mulching Tractor at ConExpo 2020 in March. The company will have two booths at the show, at C20654 in the Central Hall, and S5944 in the South Hall.
Taking design cues from the FTX600, the 4.2 psi ground pressure FTX200 has an oscillating undercarriage with 20-inch track shoes, providing balance traction on all ground conditions. The machine is designed for right-of-way, urban interface and land improvement projects.
The cab features a touchscreen IQAN display — a large rear-view camera display mounted in the line-of-sight on the front grid window — and a keyless ignition.
Also on display will be the Bull Hog Mulching head, available in either a FGT or DCR-style rotor. The unit’s front-mount lift height under cutting tools is 49 inches, helping it process larger diameter materials and handle multiple-stem vegetation. Lift arm design and lift/tilt geometry provide 31-inches of below grade reach, such as reaching into embankments.
