Though we’re still more than a year away from being able to buy one of these trucks, Bollinger has unveiled what we can expect when its all-electric pickup and SUV finally do hit the market.

Both trucks feature a dual motor setup and deliver 614 horsepower and 668 lb-ft of torque. With those specs behind them, they are considered Class 3 trucks, meaning they share the market with Ford’s F-350 Super Duty and the 3500 heavy duty pickups from GM and Ram.

The B1 and B2 can run 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 100 mph. Pricing hasn’t yet been announced and the first deliveries won’t take place until 2021 since production won’t start until next year, the company says.

The bodies of the trucks are aluminum, but the cab panels up top are made from steel and act as an exposed roll cage structure rather than having a round tube roll cage, Bollinger chief engineer Karl Hacken told our sister site Hard Working Trucks.

Because there are so many shared elements between the two trucks, it’s kind of hard to tell them apart on paper. However, the B1 is considered an SUV—though it is a modular one because it can morph into a pickup by removing the rear cab panels on the sides and top to create a half-cab. The B2 pickup is longer—more bed space—and cannot be converted into an SUV.

Both vehicles feature the following:

  • 120 kWh battery pack
  • Two-speed, hi/lo range gearbox
  • 15-inch ground clearance
  • 10-inch wheel travel
  • Storage spaces in the front truck with a patented pass-through door in the firewall allowing long pieces of lumber or other materials to basically run the length of the trucks’ chassis.
  • 5,201 pounds of payload capability
  • 7,500 pounds of towing capacity

The trucks also feature disconnectable sway bars in the front and the rear along with a hydro-pneumatic suspension that is self-leveling and can be manually adjusted up or down 5 inches from the static ride height.
