Bobcat has taken the wraps off of two new utility vehicles that feature durability and performance upgrades over previous models.
The UV34 and UV34XL UTVs are both powered by a 23.5-horsepower diesel engine. Both have 1,250 pounds of box load capacity. Rated payload on the UV34 is 1,900 pounds while the UV34XL has 2,075 pounds of capacity.
The vehicles offer what Bobcat says is the largest cargo box (available with a powered box lift) and most payload capacity in the industry. Plus, the company has upped towing capacity by a huge 25 percent to 2,500 pounds to accommodate the hauling of light-duty trailers.
Maximum travel speed is 35 miles per hour.
Bobcat says it has improved ride quality and comfort with an all new chassis and an enhanced suspension system. The new chassis increases ground clearance and off-road capability, Bobcat says, while also allowing more range of motion in the suspension.
The independent rear suspension has a sway bar, new shocks and springs, and stronger drive components.
The UTVs also feature beefier frames, suspension components, wheel hubs and wheel bearings for increased durability.
Another new feature aimed at increasing comfort is a new cab design featuring new seats with extra padding, a low and wide opening for easy entry and exit, and updated instrumentation throughout. Bobcat also added more in-dash storage along with a flip-up seat with storage underneath.
Both new UTVs are available with a variety of kits and accessories including:
- LED working lights
- Radio
- Brush guard
- In-cab heater
