Dealers have until June 14th to apply for the 2nd Annual Big Iron Dealer of the Year award. This honor is open to dealers of all sizes and seeks to recognize these companies for excellence in in meeting customer needs, employing technology, and addressing parts and service requirements.
Dealers can use this form to apply for this award. The application form is due on June 14th.
(In addition to dealer self-nominations, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and others are encouraged to nominate a dealer by using this short nomination form, which is due on May 31st.)
After reviewing the applications Big Iron Dealer/Equipment World editors will select five finalists. Each finalist will be visited by an editor, who will interview key personnel and photograph their operation.
Now in its second year, the Big Iron Dealer of the Year award has been revised to respond to initial feedback from dealers and others. With this year’s award, we are asking applicants to provide us with three customer references who can directly speak about how a dealer has met – and exceeded – their needs.
In addition, we’ll look at:
- Customer-facing initiatives started in the past two years.
- The integration of technological solutions to better serve customers.
- Parts and service initiatives.
The winner of the Big Iron Dealer of the Year award will be featured in Big Iron Dealer, be recognized in the print edition of Equipment World and receive an invitation to attend and receive their award at R-Squared, a construction and trucking marketing conference hosted by Big Iron Dealer/Equipment World parent company Randall-Reilly, slated for Sept. 16-19th.
Since this is not primarily a sales or revenue award it is open to distributors of all sizes.
