One of our favorite pastimes is cruising YouTube for good operation footage. And if you’ve ever seen those videos and thought “I’m better than that guy,” all you need to bring some added exposure to your operation game is a GoPro.
GoPro’s latest model is the Hero8 Black. It’s not cheap at around $350, but it shoots buttery smooth 4K video thanks to the new HyperSmooth 2.0 image stabilization, plus it shoots great still photos and time-lapse videos, too. Then grab an adhesive, suction cup or tube mount, place the GoPro in your machine cab and get to filming!
If you want to save a little money but still get great image quality, keep your eyes peeled for deals on the Yi 4K Action Cam. This camera sells for around $130 and it regularly gets great reviews as a much cheaper alternative to the GoPro that still delivers outstanding image quality. It looks like it’s sold out on Amazon as of this posting, but it is available at Yi’s online store.
